Overcliffe built in 1930 enjoys a unique position on the Northumberland coast with beach access from the garden. Just 40 minutes north by car from Newcastle and 2 mls from the London/Edinburgh main line train.

 

There is a walled gravel garden with raised beds, an outside dining area with new outdoor furniture and a bbq, a fenced sloping one acre garden with steps straight out onto the flat safe beach, ideal for children and dogs; as well as a sheltered all-weather tennis court. There is also a small fenced paddock for horses.

 

At the bottom of the garden by the tennis court , The old boat house is ideal for evening drinks and bbq. The last of the setting sun shines here............

What to do?

All of our properties are close to fabulous beaches or woodland walks, so pack up a picnic and enjoy the wonderful British summer countryside. Bathe in nature...............we will be adding Field sound recordings to further illustrate our properties in 2025.

Over the years we have hosted a walking theatre performance and two summer outdoor theatre events, as well as assisted Cinematography students to make a film for Leeds University and enabled Vet students to obtain valuable practical work experience, if you have a project in mind, we'd be pleased to discuss things.........l shall be attending a field recording workshop to learn to create sound maps for all our properties in 2025. We are currently investigating working with British hedgehog trust.

 

We host weekend gun dog training courses for beginners and advanced  through www.
