What's happening


Cliff Top has been redecorated internally, the Reading Room has been refurbished, the conservatory replaced with a new one and the central heating upgraded. Limited use broadband is now available. The outside has been painted and a mobility suite added.

East Hott Bank  We have added a new door from the sitting room out onto a west facing deck complete with glazed cabin, to better experience the beautiful surrounding views to the Crags and Lough.

Overcliffe Has been repainted outside  and is now the pink house on the beach rather than the white one!

Queen Street Anti Seagull spikes have been fitted on the Penthouse Roof so no more snow-shoe, tap dancing Seagulls!! The Pizza oven door has been made and fitted.

Croft Cottage Now available. This 2 bedroom Stable Block conversion with two sunny terraces and private parking overlooks fabulous gardens and is on the Dales Way. Already proving an international hit!

Dunstarn Cottage is now ready and raring to go and can also be booked through Air B and B. We experienced our first outdoor theatre event and promenade theatre event.

What's happening in the future.

More outside than in at EHB. A Moon Walk with Ghost Birch trees underplanted with cyclamen. An Observatory built to take advantage of EHB unique position following the Dark Sky National Park inititive and  The Sill is now open and well worth visiting.

A selection of paintings of the holiday properties by Artist Kitty North's have been completed, showcasing their unique postions and atmosphere. 

Iron double gates with agate slice inserts have been commissioned for Croft Cottage to commemorate the Queen's 90th Birthday. An interpretation of the confluence of the River Wharfe adjacent to the cottage.


What to do?

Concerts at Leeds Arena, visit relatives, enjoy the Leeds Indie Food Festival, exhibitions at the Henry Moore Gallery, golf the wonderful courses of Alwoodley and Moortown, shop to your heart's content or search the visit Leeds or websites. National Picnic Week

Our inaugural outdoor picnic theatre event  Pride and Prejudice was held in 2017 at Dunstarn Farm Adel Leeds 16 by Chapterhouse Theatre Co. 250 guests attended. This year they will be performing Robin Hood on 8th July 2018. Go to or 07487 310014
