Croft Cottage is a single storey, stone, Georgian stable block in its own grounds adjacent to the River Wharfe, on the Dales Way at the edge of Addingham village, and the Yorkshire Dales.
The kitchen is light and modern with far reaching views to Beamsley Beacon. There is ramped access and a keybox.
There is one large twin bedroom and one double bedroom with ensuite bath and shower; both overlooking a well stocked, peaceful garden.
The sitting room is large, comfortable and furnished with antiques. The mahogany dining table seats 6 comfortably. The private, East facing, flagged terrace is a delightful spot for breakfast. The West facing terrace a great spot for Afternoon Tea or a Sunset cocktail.
Croft Cottage is cosy, quiet and comfortable; a romantic gateaway or ideal base for exploration to Bolton Abbey, Skipton and The Dales beyond; situated just 3 miles from Ilkley on the Dales Way. There is ample secure parking; Addingham Village is also served by public transport to Keighley, Skipton and Upper Wharfedale. Addingham boasts 5 pubs and offers a tremendous choice of picturesque walks either up on the Moorside or along the river.
Ilkley, its larger neighbour is a well known tourist destination with Literary, Film and Arts Festivals as well as the International Tennis Tournament and County Week at the beautiful tennis club by the River Wharfe. Ilkley Golf Club runs along the other river bank and there is plenty of local riding along the various Bridleways.
We are sometimes able to take well behaved dogs.
