Gibbes offers competitive rates for all seasons. Currently we manage our own bookings so drop us a text or email to discuss your requirements. We want to make your dream break affordable and memorable. Please check rates through air b and b too. As they may differ. There is an additional local bed tax to pay seperate from the room rates. It is approx £8 per night per room. We need to check if this includes children and up to what age.It is called a TIN tax.

Checking In and Out
If you need to cancel or change your reservation, be sure to let us know as soon as possible. Please see our cancellation policy.
Our usual Update Check-in time is 4 pm, check-out no later than 10.00 am unless by prior arrangement. In Barbados where most arrivals are by airline these times may alter.
We try and accommodate different arrival and departure times if Gibbes is not booked back to back and in discussion with our housekeeping staff.

What to do?
All of our properties are close to fabulous beaches or woodland walks, so pack up a picnic and enjoy the wonderful British summer countryside. Bathe in nature...............we will be adding Field sound recordings to further illustrate our properties in 2024.

Dunstarn Cottage, Croft Cottage and 85 Queen Street and Gibbes Cottages can also be booked via air b and b.
Over the years we have hosted a walking theatre performance and two summer outdoor theatre events, as well as assisted Cinematography students to make a film for Leeds University and enabled Vet students to obtain valuable practical work experience, if you have a project in mind, we'd be pleased to discuss things.........l shall be attending a field recording workshop to learn to create sound maps for all our properties in May 2023 in Northumberland.
We host weekend gun dog training courses for beginners and advanced through www.
